Sold in Europe as a vermouth—basically a Spanish version of a ‘Blanc’—this unique product can’t be labeled that way in the United States because it uses a base of both cider and wine. Aromatized with cinchona, wormwood, savory, gentian, artemisia, boldo, cinnamon, star anise, coriander, thyme, vanilla, cherry, orange peel, and lemon, it is an incredibly refreshing aperitif on its own or with a splash of soda water. It also plays beautifully in vermouth cocktails—try it with your favorite gin for a stunning twist on a martini, and experiment broadly with other cocktail applications! Absolutely delicious!
