The base vintage is 2016 with the current release of the NV Champagne Premier Cru La Petite Montagne Extra Brut, which is made from 40% Meunier, 35% Chardonnay, and the rest Pinot Noir. It was fermented in stainless steel and a portion was aged in concrete and sees 4 grams per liter of dosage. It is a pale straw color and reveals aromas of red raspberry, peach, and saline. Fully dry and salty, with fantastic density, the mousse is energetic and adds an angular feel, with savory spice and orange peel acidity. Drink over the next 10-12 years.
