Explorer Series: Red Blends
Saturday December 7, 2024 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM
Do you often find yourself asking for red blends? Are you wondering what’s in them, or what makes them different from other red wines? Because European wines are typically labeled by place of origin, many casual wine drinkers don’t even realize some of the world’s most famous wines—from Bordeaux to Chianti to Côtes du Rhône and Rioja—are blends of different grape varieties. At the end of the day, a red blend isn’t a style of wine; they can be dry or sweet, full-bodied or light-bodied, fruity or earthy, low-tannin or high-tannin—so if you’re interested in finding the wine styles you like best and learning how to ask for them in a shop, restaurant, or wine bar, this is the class for you! Join us in the Morristown classroom at 4:00pm on Saturday, December 7th for a tasting of 6 varied red blends to find your new favorite!
