Join us at Turtle + the Wolf on September 10th @ 7PM, for the latest installment of our Fried Chicken & Champagne event! In case you didn’t know, Birds & Bubbles” is a match made in heaven. Crisp, mineral driven sparkling wines provide the perfect foil for rich, fried chicken. Amanti is all about the “Farmer Fizz”. We only carry Champagne from producers who perform the entire wine-making process from grape growing & harvesting to bottling. Many of the farmers in the region sell their grapes to larger houses who handle the blending and bottling, but we strive to showcase the growing movement of farmers who do it all. We find that these wines truly showcase the terroir, love & labor that go into making the greatest sparkling wine in the world!

As local as it gets, Montclair’s own Lauren Hirschberg is the Chef/Owner of this lovely bistro and makes the finest fried chicken this side of the Hudson. We are still in the process of finalizing the wine menu, but rest assured it will be fantastic!

I am expecting a great response for this event so please let me know ASAP if you would like to attend! If you are reserving for a large group, please include the names of everyone in your party.

Cost: Approximately $130 per person ($55 for food and $75 for wine) plus tax and gratuity

Please note that as usual, we have a strict 48-hour cancellation for our wine pairing dinners. As always, the wine portion of the event will be billed in advance of the dinner. If you can join us on Tuesday, September 10th, please let us know ASAP by either replying to this email or calling the store (973) 509-WINE to reserve your seat(s), as we only have 54 seats available!!! All reservations will require a credit card to confirm and will be subject to a 48-hour cancellation policy (no exceptions).
