Bottled from a single, first-fill sherry hogshead, this is a perfect example of just how well Dailuaine—which can be fairly neutral from ex-bourbon barrel—takes to an active sherry cask, even for just 26 months. Hints of fudge, sultana raisins, candied orange peel, and struck match make for a complex, seductive, decadent pour. Bottled at natural color & cask strength. Unchillfiltered.
